About Me
In 2010 I graduated from the highly respected Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage. During my first 3 years of being an LMT, I did “traditional” table massage, while the last 4 years I trained in Thai mat bodywork. Once I began training in Thai massage, I realized how much more effective and long lasting the results were for my clients. I am now completely transitioned into mat based bodywork & am in my first year as a Licensed Massage Therapy Intructor. I have specialized training in TMJ intra-Oral massage, carpal tunnel massage, and for SI joint dysfuction & piriformis syndrome. Personally, I have gone through multiple rounds of physical therapy for my neck's disc related injuries (from prior car accidents) that have taught me many tricks and ways to work on & manage cervical pain. Previous to the accidents, I was an athlete my entire life. These experiences have shaped who I am as a therapist and how I approach working on the body. Thai mat bodywork is great for all clients that want to feel better, faster. I tend to relate more to athletes and those recovering from accidents because I relate to that pain, but my work is great for desk jockeys, stay at home moms, retired grandparents/parents, ex athletes, etc.
Life is too short to spend it in pain. If you can find consistency in your daily life to be mindful of stretching/foam rolling, hydration, and body “self care”, I feel confident that working together we can get to your goals.
