Next Level Pain Relief®
Mat Based
Pain Relief Specialist
Are you looking for help with your low back, neck, or foot pain? Pain relief focused work is where I shine!
I have been a practicing therapist for 9+ years and help people like myself with chronic pain. After my whiplash injuries from multiple car accidents, I honed my craft while learning to work on myself. The table work was not resolving my issues & so once I realized how rapidly the mat based work was unwinding my old injuries & how effective it was, I decided to no longer give or receive table based bodywork.
I have specialized training in TMJ massage, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, SI joint dysfunction, & back pain. NLPR helped me get back to a pain free life quickly, so I made it my goal to do the same for others in pain.
Next Level Pain Relief® with Kristen
My work is a blend of Thai massage and bodywork combined with yoga therapy, pain science and a large dose of common sense.
I do not offer table work in any form – all work is performed on a mat on the floor. My work is done fully clothed and will help you get out of pain in a way that table work has been unable to. I have two little Service Animals that are always excited to join us in session if you are interested.
They will say hello, but then we will work & they will silently nap off mat. If you are scared of dogs, mention this in your intake forms where asked, so I can keep the dogs out of sight.

Kristen is so great at releasing and lengthening every sore muscle I have. She has so much knowledge and it shows in her technique. I would recommend this style of massage to anyone. I can’t wait until my next appointment.

I went to Kristen with shoulder pain that I had been dealing with for several months, and holy crap this girl is thorough! The massage was amazing, she asked all the right questions, and made sure I felt comfortable communicating any discomforts rather than just baring through them. Her experience really shows, and less than two weeks in, my months-long shoulder pain is almost gone. Can't recommend Kristen enough!

I had a great experience with Kristen! I didn't know what to expect and was a little nervous going in, but honestly I think this was the best massage I've ever had. Kristen naturally makes you feel comfortable, and she's very receptive and attentive to your particular needs. I highly recommend her!

I was gifted a massage with Kristen and it was wonderful. I had nearly locked my neck with stress and had little range of motion. Kristen not only got my neck moving again, but she loosened me up in areas where I had not realized I was tight. She was also an intelligent and delightful companion during the session. Highly recommend.

About Me
I graduated from the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage in 2010. In the first three years of my licensure, I focused exclusively on traditional table massage. However, over the past 7+ years, I have trained extensively in Thai mat bodywork. This experience has shown me just how effective and long-lasting the results can be for my clients.
Over the last four years, I have fully transitioned my practice to mat-based bodywork and have over three years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor. My specialized training includes techniques for TMJ intraoral massage, carpal tunnel relief, sciatica management, and addressing SI joint dysfunction and piriformis syndrome, among others.
Having undergone multiple rounds of physical therapy for cervical disc injuries from past car accidents, I have gained valuable insights and techniques for managing neck pain. My background as an athlete has also informed my approach to therapy. These experiences have shaped my philosophy as a therapist and how I work with clients.
Thai mat bodywork is a fantastic option for anyone looking to feel better, faster. I have a particular affinity for working with athletes and individuals recovering from injuries, as I can personally relate to those challenges. However, my services are beneficial for a wide range of clients, including desk workers, stay-at-home parents, retirees, and former athletes.
Life is too short to live in pain. If you can commit to incorporating mindful practices such as stretching, foam rolling, hydration, and body self-care into your daily routine, I am confident that together we can achieve your wellness goals.
