Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of work do you do?

I offer Next Level Pain Relief®, a unique approach to manual therapy and pain relief that blends techniques from Thai massage, myofascial release, and modern pain science. My sessions are fully clothed and take place on a comfortable mat on the floor. This allows for gentle compression, passive stretching, and movement, giving your body the time and space it needs to unwind tension and create lasting change.

What is Next Level Pain Relief®?

Next Level Pain Relief® is a pain science-informed approach to hands-on therapy designed to help you move better, feel better, and understand your body’s patterns. It’s not just about addressing the symptoms — it’s about working with your nervous system to help your body feel safe, supported, and capable of change.

This system was built on years of experience with Thai massage, but it expands beyond traditional Thai techniques to incorporate modern understanding of how pain works — including movement re-education, breath work, and a focus on body awareness. It’s ideal for people who want more than a basic massage and are ready to work with their body, not just lie there and hope for the best.

Is this the same as traditional Thai massage?

Not exactly. Traditional Thai massage is a beautiful system of mat-based bodywork with deep roots in Thai culture. While I’ve trained extensively in Thai massage and those techniques are part of my toolbox, Next Level Pain Relief® goes beyond traditional sequences to create a customized experience for each client.

The goal isn’t just to stretch or compress the body — it’s to help your nervous system feel safe, which allows for deeper, longer-lasting relief. It’s Thai massage evolved — blended with modern pain science, movement therapy, and a common-sense approach to pain relief.

What issues can you help with?

I work with clients experiencing:

    • Chronic neck and shoulder pain

    • Low back pain and sciatica

    • Car accident or injury recovery

    • Hip, knee, and ankle issues

    • Postural tension from too much sitting or screen time

    • General stiffness, tension, and stress

Whether you’re dealing with long-term pain or just want to feel more ease and freedom in your body, Next Level Pain Relief® can help.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing — yoga pants, leggings, gym clothes, etc. You’ll stay fully clothed for the whole session, and we’ll be working on a mat, so comfort and ease of movement are key.

How long are the sessions?

My standard sessions are 3 hours but I offer sessions from 2-4 hours duration. This gives us enough time to unwind your body’s patterns, explore what’s driving your pain, and create a meaningful shift. This isn’t a quick fix or a rushed session — it’s deep work done at your body’s pace.

How much does a session cost?

    • First-time clients: $300 for a 3-hour session.

    • After that, we’ll discuss follow-up options based on your needs.

Do I need to be flexible or in shape?

Not at all. This work meets you where you are — whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or just feeling stiff and stuck from life. Every session is tailored to your needs and comfort level.

Where do sessions take place?

I see clients in my studio in north Austin, which is set up specifically for mat-based work. It’s a private, calm space with all the pillows, props, and comfort you need to relax fully into the work.

What’s your background?

I have over 9+ years of experience in Thai massage, pain relief techniques, and movement-based bodywork. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients dealing with chronic pain, injuries, and stress. My approach has evolved over time into Next Level Pain Relief®, blending everything I’ve learned into a flexible, client-centered system focused on real results.

How do I book a session?

You can book directly online or contact me if you’d like to discuss your needs before scheduling.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Gift certificates are available if you’d like to give the gift of pain relief and deep relaxation to someone you care about.

What’s your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may be subject to a 100% fee.

What’s the difference between Next Level Pain Relief® and regular massage?

Great question! Here’s a quick comparison:

Traditional Massage Next Level Pain Relief®
Works on a table with oil or lotion Works on a mat with clothes on
Focuses on muscles & knots Focuses on nervous system safety & body awareness
Linear, predictable techniques Customized to your body’s patterns and needs
Passive — therapist does the work Often includes gentle guided movement & breath work
Temporary relief Focuses on lasting change and helping you move better between sessions

If you’re looking for something deeper than a spa massage, but not as intense as airriosti, Next Level Pain Relief® is a perfect fit.

Can I follow up between sessions?

Absolutely! I’m happy to answer questions, check in about how you’re feeling, and offer simple self-care suggestions between appointments. My goal is to help you feel empowered and informed, not just passively receive care.
